About Basecamp

Cliff Seam ClimbingAttending camp is often referred to as a “mountain top experience.” Away from the distractions and busyness of life, camp offers a chance to relax, enjoy the outdoors, and reflect on what is important. Returning from camp, orĀ coming down the mountain, can seem like a let-down.

We want to flip this way of thinking upside down. The greatest challenges and achievements of life are not to be found in the brief seasons of retreat and escape, but in the victories and progress made each and every day. We learn, we grow, we near the real mountain tops of maturity and godliness.

Our goal is not to give students a once-in-a-lifetime rush, but to encourage and prepare them for a lifetime of steady, God-honoring growth in their spiritual lives.

We have a ton of fun, engage in exciting activities and generally enjoy all that a camping environment has to offer. There are also times for serious thought and careful evaluation. All of this comes in the context of a call to love and follow our Lord Jesus Christ.

Life isn’t easy, but a life lived for Christ is an exciting adventure and a challenge to be enjoyed. Camp isn’t the goal of this life, but it is a place that can help students prepare.

The cliff is steep; the winds are unpredictable. But our guide is dependable, our equipment sufficient and our route clearly marked.

Welcome to Basecamp.

Registration Information

Registration for Basecamp 2013 will close July 28th!

Please note thatĀ every student will need to have a current, 2013 medical release form on file before they are able to participate in Basecamp. This form can be downloaded from the registration form linked to above or a copy can be obtained by clicking here.

When filling out the medical release form, please give particular attention to any medical conditions, food/medicine allergies and other health concerns that camp staff needs to be aware of.

Medical Release form and camp payment are due by the beginning of camp.

We take the responsibility of overseeing our campers very seriously and look forward to answering any questions or addressing any concerns you may have. Please don’t hesitate to use our Contact Us page!

Financial Information

Basecamp will cost $40 this year.

If you have multiple siblings attending camp, then we have a tiered price structure:

1st Student – $40

2nd Student – $30

3rd Student – $20

4th Student – $10

5th+ Student – FREE

We understand that for some families the tiered pricing structure still poses a financial challenge. We have a number of scholarships available for students willing to assist with service projects. We never like to see a student stay home for financial reasons, so please do not hesitate to contact us if we can serve your family in this way!
